Product Description:
Ultra-Low Penetration Air Filter (ULPA) is an air filtration device with extremely high filtration efficiency, capable of removing particles of 0.1 micron and above from the air, typically with filtration efficiency of 99.9995% or higher. Compared with the high efficiency air filter (HEPA), the filter material structure of the ULPA filter is more compact, the filter area is larger, and the dust holding capacity is stronger.
Working principle
The working principle of ULPA filters is based on the following mechanisms:
Interception: Larger particles are directly intercepted because their size is larger than the fiber gap.
Inertial collision: Larger particles hit the fiber surface due to inertia and are captured.
Diffusion: Smaller particles are caught because Brownian motion increases the chance of colliding with fibers.
Electrostatic adsorption: Some ULPA filters utilize the electrostatic adsorption capacity of fibers to capture charged particles
